A complete Plug&Play kit that includes everything required for installing the absolutely stunning and impressive Full-HD id4 S2000-skinned digital LCD cluster from ID4Motion into the first generation NSX (1991-2005 year models). An NSX spec id4 cluster is included in the kit, complete with a custom NSX splash screen and optional software support for aftermarket EMS’s and backup cameras*.

Includes our high performance pre-preg carbon fiber trim plate, anti-glare lens, 3D-printed mounting brackets and screws.

Option: “Ghost integration” design package for a fully integrated and visually stunning solution! The Ghost design package includes a semi-translucent, anti-glare treated lens which results in a truly digital instrumentation appearance**.

**Although the anti-glare treatment is efficient, the “Ghost” works best in low light conditions such as night time driving, as the semi-translucent lens does reduce the brightness of the Id4 cluster a little bit.

A tailored design

The kit has been specifically developed for the NSX from the bottoms up with a purely bespoke design and selected components.

  • Custom NSX spec id4 S2000-skinned digital gauge cluster from Dutch manufacturer ID4Motion. Switch between AP1, AP2 and AP2 Club Racer skins and customize the color setup using a push of a button (keypad included in the kit). The id4 cluster can be supplied with optional support for CANBUS-enabled aftermarket EMS’s and backup cameras.

Swapping to an all digital, modern instrument cluster such as the id4 is a popular mod for many cars for a couple of reasons:

  • State-of-the-art technology means a higher performing application and higher level of customization by the push of a button. Choose between AP1, AP2 and AP2 Club Racer skins and color setup easily using the supplied keypad. Customize extra gauges and fine-tune calibration settings, it's all there easy to configure

  • It features a high density of instrumentation which is especially advantageous for sport car applications, as the driver will find all information conveniently situated in a small area in the instrument panel, and thereby spends less time finding relevant information during spirited driving. Further, it supports a variety of additional optional inputs over CANBUS:

How to install the firmware:

Installing the updates requires an USB drive that is formatted as FAT32 with an msdos partition table. Put the update file in the root of the USB stick (not in a directory or map).

When you have the update copied to the USB stick let the vehicle run and wait with plugging in the USB stick until the cluster has fully started. The progress bar on the cluster will show you that the update is being installed. When ready you will see a green ‘check’ mentioning the software is installed successfully. Remove your USB stick and the cluster will reboot. After that let the car go to sleep fully (aproximately 1-5 minutes) and restart your car.

Your cluster is installed with the new software and you can check the version number in the internal menu.

When you don’t succeed with the update these are the most common failures:

  • Try a different USB stick

  • Files are not in the root of the USB stick

  • There are more files (updates) on the USB stick

  • Reformat the USB stick

  • USB stick not connected in cluster correctly

  • Cluster isn’t fully started
